Usually, porn directors have had a background in either porn production or acting, but Jonni Darkko began as a fashion and erotic photographer before moving into videos. This isn't the sort of biographical information you'll find inside his site, Jonni Darkko XXX, but it's easily found online. As for his style of porn, you'll have to browse around the members' area to get a feel for it, unless of course, you're already a fan.
JonniDarkkoXXX is filled with movies while under contract with Evil Angel and it's a fairly thorough collection, as well. Also, as part of a larger network offering members access to over 40 sites, his site is joined by other famous directors like Nacho Vidal, Christoph Clark, Jay Sinn and John Leslie. However, along with specific director sites, there are also porn star sites like Tera Patrick and Silvia Saint. Overall, it's a fabulous amount of content for the small membership fee.
All of the network sites offer the same organization and the same search features and once you've seen one of the network sites, you can pretty much get a feel for the navigation. Search features aren't extensive, but they do take you to specific types of models, specific stars, hardcore niches and actions, and you can sort the scenes by date, views and ratings. It's all very simple, really and I'd be surprised to hear that anyone had any problems.
